Synopsis
The history of the Diesel engine, from the Pre-Dioesel engines of the late 1800s (Hot Bulb, Steam, Gas and Gasoline) to Rudolph Diesel and recreated 1890s experiments with the new Diesel Engine. Various diagrams of the Diesel Engine principle (of early and later desing) are shown, as well as major developments in the Diesel Engine (such as Airless Injection of the 1920s).
