The opening (and Fred Holliday's hairstyle) plants this film squarely in the early '70s. It starts off with an oscilloscope wave superimposed over images, following by an animated kind-of rhomboid over a groovy background as an electric guitar plays inoffensive rock-type music. The main trust of the short is a look at telephones, past, present and future. No predictions of cell phones, though. This was produced by Cascade, known more for Raid commercials than anything.
