Fun movie, obviously made in the infant days of tourist airline travel, about yes, being able to travel from the east coast of the US to the west coast in 48 hours! Now before you throw your hat down, and scream "BALDERDASH!" this film documents that very trip! Supervised by Charles Lindbergh (!!), who sometimes made plane inspections IN THE AIR, the group of approximately 12 people, all cram into this shoebox of a plane.for a ridiculous amount of short trips hopping from city to city (the planes obviously had lower fuel capacity you see). And overnight they take a train. They look AWFULLY…
