Synopsis

18 min., color: Yosemite National Park is nearly empty during wartime in this travel reel from the early 1940s. Opening in San Francisco, the reel quickly crosses the Bay Bridge (nearly empty) and travels overland to the Sierra Mountains. Most of the reel is landscape views of scenic highlights of Yosemite. Notice: Brief appearance by two Native children.
