"Venice, Queen of the Adriatic" Gaumont Chronochrome (1912)
1912 · Silent film · 8 min
Synopsis
Venise, Reine de L’ Adriatique" filmed in original color with the Chronochrome process. White balance corrected to show a more natural result. The process was released by Gaumont in 1912 and used until the early 1920s. It had less commercial success than its rival, Kinemacolor. It was a three-color process, photographing and projecting a black-and-white film with red, green and blue frames at the same time.
