This short film of the Wehrmacht was commissioned after Triumph of the Will was seen. The German Army high command felt the amed forces did not receive recognition. Leni Riefenstahl thus put this together. It was funded and produced by the Nazi Party. The film itself shows the new Wehrmacht, Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe on display in marching formation and also in battlefield war games on the Zepplin Field at Nuremberg. While the uniforms and structure are all new, the training and tactics are all Reichswehr developed during the Weimar period. The combinations of foot, horse, mechanised & air…
