The artistic, architectural, and cultural treasures of pre-War Dresden are shown from the perspective of a group of holidaymakers travelling by streetcar (“Stadtrundfahrt”). There is also some very nice footage of an ascent by cable-car to the heights above the city. Considering the period, certain jarring notes are inescapable — watch out for the “Adolf-Hitlerplatz”.
