Boasting a well-known cast including a cunning Victor Mature, beautiful but spoiled and whiny Gene Tierney, and Ona Munson as the revengeful Mother Gin Sling. I can't help but wonder why Anna Mae Wong wasn't chosen to play Gin Sling although Munson is quite credible. Walter Huston plays Sir Guy Charteris who is the focus of Gin Sling's machinations. Worth mentioning is Phyllis Brooks who unfortunately stumbles into a bad situation. The theme seems to be about the weaknesses of the human race. I enjoyed it very much.
