Synopsis

Dr. Georg Rentmeister on vacation in Reichenhall (Bavaria) is going to meet his friend Karl in Salzburg (Austria). But due to foreign currency regulations he is only allowed to spend 10 Deutschmarks a month in Austria. After having spent the whole amount for a hat he purchased he is not able to pay the bill in a restaurant, where he assumed to meet his friend Karl who may have helped him out of this dilemma.
