Well, yeah, I have no idea how this worked. In this promotion, if you came to the theater... you would win a bird. A turkey, a chicken or a goose. Are they giving them away BEFORE or After the show? Where do you put a chicken while watching your show? Under the seat? And hey! All the birds will be set free in the coop before the show! HILARIOUS! Interesting how the date states "Monday December 22" (just the perfect time to get a bird for Christmas, hey?) which would put it, again, in 1938. Was this in Stephenson, Michigan again?
