Very likely this was meant to be spliced into the program on Friday February 12, 1932 (Lincoln's Birthday). I imagine this was made by some animation / title production company for distributors to offer as a bonus to theater owners or sold in a package with other topical short snippets to pepper into the program occasionally. I can see how movie houses might use this kind of thing to ingratiate themselves with their patrons and create a familial atmosphere that would make folks feel at home. Come on back now, ya' hear?
