It takes more than a quarter of the film before it finally gets to the point--plant a Victory Garden. Even in vacant lots. Don't know how? Then don your fedora and head to the nearest Civilian Defense office. It's a little early for them to talk about Commies and bomb shelters, so they can give you advice about "magic plant food" and DDT spraying. All those chemicals and some kid wants to put a dirty carrot into his mouth. There are both outdoor and studio shots, as well as stock footage.
