Synopsis
Documentary about Amsterdam, with much attention paid to the architecture of the city. Focus on the picturesque character of the city of Amsterdam, with alternating images of ancient and modern architecture. Buildings are neatly introduced by means of intertitles. There is also a focus on street attractions such as monkeys and pigeons, and shots of the metropolitan diamond industry. The film concludes with shots of the port and the Amstel river.
