Synopsis
This silent film shows highlights of the Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971. The footage shows the launch, lunar rendezvous, moon landing and exploration including the use of the moon rover, and the return to Earth and splashdown and recovery of the crew. Apollo 15 was the ninth crewed mission in the United States' Apollo program, the eighth to be successful, and the fourth to land on the Moon.
