Synopsis

Focuses on the new creativity of American architecture. Explains that in past centuries city architecture in the United States revealed worldwide influences and the diverse cultures of the past. Shows that American architecture eventually broke with tradition and that the wide variety of imaginative designs which are being created have a modern identity and are of national origin.
