The most complicated layered analyzed picnic I've ever seen. Doesn't help that Jack is a Jack ass. 1974 and males are still stereotypical one dimensional selfish horn dogs. And...I want Jeff & Lloyd to also breakdown the scene man.

This film met every expectation I could have had for it, in the worst way possible. By Jack's own admission, they'd been having sex for six months (we were going good), but Dana's been feeling like he sees her as a walking flesh light and wants him to do LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE with her besides sex and that's too much to ask? I know that even in the 70's, the concept of women being more than just a receptacle for a dude's spew wasn't unknown, and that the idea that your TEENAGE relationship should be about finding someone who you get along with as a person wasn't a foreign concept.
