This is a great piece of World War II-era entertainment history. It should be pointed out, however, that the broadcast (and therefore, this film) appears to have been recorded at CBS' Columbia Square radio studios in Hollywood, not at Camp Roberts as stated in the description. It is known that many episodes in this series were recorded at Columbia Square. Also note the microphone with the "CBS" nameplate.

It is not stated that this broadcast was from Camp Roberts (Calif.). Bob Hope says that he "Just got back from Camp Roberts. Drove about 200 miles in a jeep..." Most 'Command Performance USA' programs were recorded in Hollywood (and a few in New York and D.C.). This episode also featured Jimmy Durante and also The Charioteers black vocal harmony singers (both of whom are cut from this film).
