Wow! We are truly kindred spirits! This is probably my favorite documentary of all-time for any subject! Peter Gimbel, Stan Waterman, Ron and Valerie Taylor, and Rodney Fox looking all over for great white sharks. What could be better! The scenes with the oceanic whitetips are just mind boggling...hundreds of whitetips in every direction. That must've been the scariest dive ever...not enough sharks for that to happen nowadays sadly. A true classic! The greatest shark documentary of all-time hands down! Keep up the good work!! I should just give you my wishlist and see what you have! Lol no…

I think that for its time, it's very good. I think the director did a great job with the moments of tension and fear, which is why I give it 5 stars. It was very advanced for its time.

only thing that gave me the chills was the filming of the sharks while it was night time. be pretty freaky if you were stranded in the ocean including during the night where the ocean turns to the colour of black ink and not knowing what lurks below you.
