SIlent newsreel (Castle Films, so most likely sent to schools or private use) of the aftermath of the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the capsizing of the SS Normandie. Pearl Harbor. we've all seen footage of before, but this is very good as we see aftermath, taken a few days after I imagine? Capsized ships (with soldiers guarding!) and metal in the ocean abounds. The Normandie footage was quite interesting. That ship was massive! Caught fire though and spread quickly, and then the whole thing tipped over. Quite interesting to do a followup read on it. Highly reccomended!
