Not a great installment in the Charlie Chan series. Kind of drags in the middle. Too bad it's missing Keye Luke as Chan's 'Number One Son' Lee, and his trademark, "Gee wiz, Pop!" Print is very poor quality, which may be why it was hard to get involved in the story.

as much as I enjoy a good mystery, I think yuu will find this film was pulled from a Chicago station from a program called "weekend theatre". It is sadly to say, not public domain and should be remove.
