Claudius: Boy of Ancient Rome (Latin Dialogue) (1964)

This is a story of a young slave and his equally young "master." His father actually owns the slave. The film starts to look at the relationship between two such Romans, which is a topic confusing to those of us more familiar with America's version of slavery. But then it ends too soon. I'm no less confused now. I wanted to know more. I wanted a fuller picture of the experiences and outlooks of these young Romans. Still, some interesting factoids. I liked the Latin dialog. Too bad the actors were just dubbed, and didn't speak the Latin lines.
