Synopsis
A wounded archaeologist crawls into the camp of three kindhearted cowboys. When the cowboys bring him to a nearby trading post, he's murdered after he lets slip a secret about a hidden cave. Investigating his death, Ken and his friends encounter a land dispute between a pair of neighboring ranches, an arrogant German baron and a mysterious shack that houses a great secret.

Definitely not one of Ken Maynard's best efforts - here he is hampered by a convoluted plot, a non-existent script and some 2nd rate acting. Maynard (Ken Baxter) evidently just happens to be in the area when an injured Michael Vallon (Dr. Wahl) wanders his way spouting something about a discovery. Maynard and his two useless companions Ralph Peters (Panhandle) and Julian Rivera (Pancho) take him to the nearest house - a store owned by a crotchety old man, John Elliott (Hiram Crabtree) where he finds two foreign scientists William Castello (Dr. Flotow) and Sven Hugo Borg (Baron Starkoff).
