Synopsis
As alien invaders plot to conquer the Earth, two Boy Scouts steal a mini-submarine and discover Gamera in their midst. Transported to the alien's spaceship, the Scouts are menaced by the evil inhabitants, including Viras, a squid-like monster that grows to colossal size to battle Gamera.

This film gives a profound insight into one of the most important topics of modern and classic philosophic thought: KAIJU!! Heck, it has everything, it has Gamera!!! Dudes yelling orders for no good reason!! Explosions, elephant leg trousers... did I mention GAMERA!!! To hell with Fletnix, I'm gonna watch GAMERA!!!

...the Earth is being attacked by humbugs! The humbugs are huge and stick together just like in your pocket, only this time they form an alien space ship. This film is a bit of an excuse to show clips of old Gamera movies, but they are all the same so you might not notice. Poor Gamera is really wasting his/her time on Earth if you ask me. There must be a quieter planet to live on, and especially one without irritating boy scouts who just get you into fights. The aliens manage to take over Gamera's mind to make it try to destroy Earth, much carnage ensues, but thanks to the boy scouts he gets…

These early Gamera movies were unrelentingly cheesy and directed squarely at 6-12yr old demographic. Even though they happily dice up Space Gyaos the general feel is childlike and simple, and Gamera is always getting mangled and bleeding, whereas it took years before we found out the big G had hemoglobin. The worst Mina movie is more sophisticated than any Gamera movie, until the 3 Heisei Gamera reboot movies, which are AWESOME.
