Synopsis
Tommy McCoy and "Dude" Markey are both in love with Harlem singer/dancer Nita. Markey robs a jewelry store and turns the loot over to gang-boss Murray Howard. Later, Markey robs the safe, steals the jewelry, and, in order to get rid of his rival for Nita, frames the robbery on McCoy. The latter's big-brother thinks otherwise and, with Nita's help, sets out to prove it.

Considering the low budgets of these early films featuring an African-American cast, aka "race films", this is one of the better ones - that's not to say it's great, but very watchable. Jeni Le Gon propels the actions as the attractive dancer both the good guy and the bad guy are after. Maceo Bruce Sheffield was well cast as the bad guy; Edward Thompson is good as a nasty henchman; Freddie Jackson makes a good straight-arrow good guy; and Monte Hawley is fine as Jackson's troubled wanna-be younger brother.
