Synopsis
This is the story of Mike Hanlon, a high school football player and a boy of pleasing personality. Mike wants friends but instead of trying to make friends with individuals, he concentrates on becoming friendly with a certain group of boys. However, each time he approaches them, he is re- buffed. He feels left out. His coach notices this and explains to him that cliques always exist and that there are several ways that those left out might react. Mike decides to make friends with individuals…

Fun film about how to make friends! It has some worthwhile advice about making individual friends rather than forcing yourself into a group. Fellow in question finds a similar guy who likes motorcycles, and soon they find another guy who has a motorbike.. but with a squeaky bulb horn! Everyone likes touching his horn. Soon, they get one of their own to play around with. Hands down, one of the most suggestive scenes ever in a movie like this. Reccomended!

Perhaps the most unintentional funny line in this film is after Mike Hanlon follows his coach's advice and makes friends with different high school boys. Mike tells the coach "Everything's just wonderful!" The coach looks at Mike's new male companions, gives Mike a look and says "So I see." A close second is when the boys get together with their weird motorcycles that have moving pedals. They all have matching horns that sound like geese. They all take turns grabbing Mike's bulb (on his horn) and squeezing it. How's that for 1951 bonding? It's never explained why Mike wants to hang out with…
