Synopsis
Lesson 65 in Encyclopaedia Britannica's 'Je Parle Français' French language instruction series of 1961. The film begins with a parade in Bretagne with traditional dress, accompanied by bagpipes. Leter actors Ghislaine Dumont and Jean Landret meet traditional dancers who perform a round dance, accompanied by chanter and bagpipes. Filmed in Quimper is the ancient capital of Cornouaille, Brittany's most traditional region, with a distinctive Breton Celtic character.
