Synopsis
Following the success of "The Archie Show" and its companion, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," Filmation greenlit an original companion for Sabrina based on The Universal Monsters. "Laugh-In" writers Jack Mendelsohn and Jim Mulligan were hired to develop the show, patterning it after that gag-a-minute series, and musical numbers were added to ape the success of The Archies. I remember these quite well, and never understood why these episodes were posted in pieces elsewhere: NOW I understand why. With today's cancel culture, cancel pigs, and other splinter groups who post incessantly on social media ( no specific names given here) some of the cartoon scenes in these episodes would get a few LOUD groups griping online: About sight gags and humor nobody ever could have thought was " offensive " at the time this was made. Me personally, I see nothing wrong with these: Unfortunately others will and scream about it on the internet.
