Some two decades prior to The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family, Stu Erwin's Trouble With Father aired back-to-back with Ozzie And Harriet on ABC Friday nights. Since many years ago I have come across a number of references to this show as the prototype for sitcoms featuring lovable-but-bumbling fathers. This is the first episode I have seen in its entirety and it's a good one. Good for a smile all the way through, but the milking scene is indeed laugh-out-loud funny.
