Here Comes Trouble is a 1948 American comedy film in the Hal Roach's Streamliners series. It was produced and directed by Fred Guiol and written by George Carleton Brown and Edward E. Seabrook. The film has some aspects that usually make a comedy good. And, indeed, up to the point before the persecution of the fake clown, there're some fine ideas. But, when the "bad guy" becomes known and the persecution starts, very little looks as accidental as a good comedy suggests. Even in comedy we must believe that just by accident something goes wrong, and that's the surprise that makes it funny. It's a pity, because we rarely see a goofy cop, the one who generates most of troubles, as we see here. To sum up, neither story, direction or acting are specially good in this film.
