Industry executives such as Jack and Harry Warner, Walt Disney, Cecil B. DeMille, et al are seen taking bows in the live (non-archive) footage.

A "Time Marches On" short subject about the movies! After a short intro about the cultural significance of film, and some repositories of them, we get a whirlwind history of film, from "The Great Train Robbery" to "Zola"! Not much of a spectrum, but then again this film was made In 1937, even before color was introduced. Film that goes on to back slap many movie executives, including yes, Will H Hayes.
