Ed Parker is obsessed with a/v projectors and insults people who aren't ("Don't be a loafer!") and won't be forced into his projector operator club. Teacher Mr. Baldwin tells Ed forcing is bad, a light push will get his goal. By the end of the picture, Ed has done enough smooth talking to prepare him for a sales job with the Bell and Howell Co. What irony! The same pitch about "pushing" is on the film that's being screened to Ed's class. By the way, to be a film operator, "boys only" need apply. He doesn't ask any girls. "We all know what the word 'co-operate' means," says Mr. Baldwin. But…

Physics class is turned into Shmoozing 101. Mr Baldwin teaches young men it's not about baiting the trap..it's about the quality & reward of the cheese that's paramount. Perks For Susceptible Jerks if you will. Does this seem like a bit of a cynical review of this film? Well...I think we can all agree where the art of coaxing has taken us in recent times. The ever rewarding bait traps for certain actions by opportunistic dunderheads is abundant to say the least. BTW...Harry has Mr. Andersons biology class for intro Bait N Switch next period..be wary Harry.
