Set in a distopian future where Prohibition is yet to be repealed, a man out of place in 1930 finds himself even moreso in 1980. Check out the **CITY OF TOMORROW!!**. You may recognize it from nearly every chapter of the Buck Rogers serials. Time has not been kind to this past vision of the future. If only the filmmakers had set it in 2030.

I agree with 1st reviewer, this is typical of ‘30’s vaudeville era films-many comedians and stage actors are in this-but I have less appreciation of it. There was some cleverness, but not much..volstead act jokes, Skype-like phones, a brief quote from “ain’t no sin”, and the sound and film quality held up well. It was revealing how sexist the ‘30’s were..women couldn’t file to marry, had no choices, sexism was RAMPANT, and how it hasn’t changed all that much since then.
