Synopsis
Captain Wallace Casewell Jr., chief of police of Panama City, Florida, is the star of Killers of the Sea. Appointing himself protector of all Gulf of Mexico gamefish, Capt. Casewell makes it his mission to round up illegal fishing boats and to stave off such natural predators as sharks, whales and octopi. Despite an earlier admiration of "hunters" who'd bring 'em back alive/dead, you do have to wonder about what kind of person gets a thrill out of killing a turtle or blowing up an elephants brain with a bazooka size bullet. The value of films such a this is to spotlight the incomprehensible stupidity of committing such sensless acts and one can hope that all viewings will be a lesson in what NOT to do to animals with weapons. And, if it's a sport, then use a spear, slingshot, knife or bow/arrow. Wasn't destroying native cultures enough blood? If not, then there's the joy of watching them being…

All I can say after watching this guy is: "What an ass" Yes a lot of scenes where either fake or with a shark so worn out after towing it until it was almost dead before he got to it but the attitude towards the animals was appalling. Calling a bottle dolphin a killer? The only killer in the seas in this flick was this jerk. Not what I would call a documentary. I hope this guy was eaten by something with big teeth
