Synopsis
King Arthur Was a Gentleman is a 1942 British black-and-white comedy musical film directed by Marcel Varnel and starring Arthur Askey, Evelyn Dall, Anne Shelton, Max Bacon, Jack Train and Peter Graves. It was written by Marriott Edgar and Val Guest, and was produced by Edward Black and Maurice Ostrer for Gainsborough Pictures.

I'm surprised no one has written a review yet. This is a good and funny film. As a bonus, it's has some interesting details in it, e.g. the british armored cars. The "musical" at the beginning may deter you from watching this film, but you can just fast-forward to skip it. (Search "Arthur Askey" here to find more films with this actor.)

and like many films of this period is was created to help boost moral within the United Kingdom. It's just a shame that so many films have fallen into the Public Domain. As the original companies which made the films no longer exists.
