Her fans in Asia in the 1970's called her "Lady Whirlwind", and this is the film that gave her that title. If you blink, you will miss an exciting scene. The film never stops, and from the opening battle on,I found myself in awe of the action scenes. Sammo Hung, who grew up with Jackie Chan in the Chinese Opera School stages some incredible action sequences. There is even a training sequence that you know Tarantino studied for KILL BILL. An absolute delight, with action scenes that helped launch the kung fu films worldwide.

If you like martial arts movie watch this, you will like it. Innovative, evolving fight scenes, fly wire harness moments included, but reasonably well done in a tongue in cheek sort of way. The fly wire meant the production had a higher budget than a typical B movie martial arts flick, and it shows. The dialogue is a little bit more american sounding, and cursing in film became a part of the movies made for the new at that time motion picture rating code of "R", which meant it was restricted and you could go in as a child only accompanied by an adult. Which is what all us kids wanted to do…
