Synopsis
Beasley, who is after Gayner's land, plans to kidnap his daughter. But Dale overhears their plan and kidnaps her himself. When Gayner arrives to retrieve his daughter, Beasley kills him and makes the Sheriff arrest Dale for the murder.

A good western, with a better scripted plot and better acting than usual, no doubt due to the presence of some experienced "A" film actors such as Randolph Scott, Noah Beery, Harry Carey, Tom Kennedy, Buster Crabbe, Barton MacLane, Guinn "Big Boy" Williams and Vince Barnett. Scott is good as a tough "Man of the Forest" who lives with a pair of mountain lions and their three cubs. Verna Hillie, while not a big name, makes a great, tough "Girl of the Desert" who for the most part is at odds with Scott until she realizes hey are working towards the same end. Carey is good as the senior good guy…
