Synopsis
'Rocks' Owen, the well-off owner of a car-hire business, is found murdered; the last place he was seen alive was the Blue Parrot nightclub. Scotland Yard go in to investigate, with the help of a visiting American detective and a nightclub hostess who may not be all she appears to be.

A nicely done, taut little murder mystery concerning various small-time crooks, who frequent The Blue Parrot Club in London's Soho, female companions who work there and a few other shady characters. Scotland Yard and a visiting American policeman studying English crime-fighting methods and offering some of his own. John Le Mesurier is good as the low key, but shady club owner. Ballard Berkeley makes a good Yard Supt. - fast talking, quick thinking and on the move. Jacqueline Hill is the, of course, beautiful Yard undercover Sgt. and, for good measure, love interest for Dermot Walsh's American…
