A lovely story about Mole, who finds a green star during his spring cleaning. He does his best to place it in the night sky, but his lone efforts fail. His woodland friends pitch in to help. A possessive crow (crows do have a reputation for hording bright shiny things) tricks Mole into giving her the star, but Mole and all the other animals band together to get it back. Yet the problem of getting the star into the sky still persists. The moon, upon seeing Mole weeping over his futile efforts, gives this sweet story a happy ending.
