★★★ · Focus on German invasion of Norway · pcornelius · 2014-11-29
Interesting scenes of Kriegsmarine anti-submarine operations against Royal Navy forces engaged in trying to close the Skaggerak. German forces are shown landing in Norway, using trimotor aircraft with corrugated-metal wings. British capture of a German submarine, and U-boat base at Lorient, are also covered. Scene of an Allied bombing raid — “paid for by your income tax.” Considerable captured German film.
