A sci fi movie that could only be made in Italy with entertaining bad science, lots of romantic schmaltz and the kind of low-budget FX we've grown to love. Just add tomato sauce. Lots of fun. Very good print too.

This is a dry disaster film with too much stock footage and scenes of observatories calling other observatories, but it's worth a look because Mario Bava shot it. You can see his mastery of lighting in many of the close-ups and interior scenes.
