Poor Boy Rich Girl (1930)

Clara is allowed to freely BE... Singing or dialogue, her voice is just fine for the talkies. She really carries her pictures. But what's with the weird direction? It plays straight, then turns into a musical, then the comic relief guys DO Laurel&Hardy (very poorly), then during the climax scene, a Luis Bunuel-esque surrealism takes over before it straightens out again. I will have to find out what happened to the director... Did he get better or did he go into another profession?

So, the posting says "Poor Boy, Rich Girl" but the film itself says, "Rich Boy, Poor Girl." Anyone know which it is, or is it actually "Love Among the Millionaires" that's been retitled for some unknown reason. Can't find anything under this title on Google.
