Excellent film detailing man's quest for domination of space. Starting earlier then the Russian cold war, the film goes back prior to World War II and to amateur rocketry clubs in Germany, which caught the eye of the Nazis, and then caught the eye of the Americans and the Russians,Who was then raced to get the German locket scientists to do their own country after the Germans were defeated to benefit their old space program. Isn't that interesting? The film that goes into the race to put the first satellite into orbit. I found this film totally fascinating and learned history that I had never…
