Synopsis
A man takes his American freedoms for granted, until he wakes up one morning to find out that the United States Government has been replaced with a Communist system. The basis for this short film, narrated by Jack Webb, is the alleged Soviet re-creation of US communities for the purpose of training infiltrators, spies, and moles.

We let The govt take the freedom we used to have. No kids are allowed to run around the neighborhood unsupervised like I did as a child. Everyone carries their monitoring device in their pocket. We did nothing to stop it. People believe the propaganda that used to be news. This is a prime example of Capitalist hockey from the cold war. It seems almost insane to think of it as anything else! As a Socialist watching this in the distant year of 2020 when the economy works against anyone 30 and below (given you have a moral compass), I find it hilarious that this schlock is believable to any but the most feeble-minded individual! Genuinely love it as an antiquated piece of anti-union, anti-collectivist propaganda from a studio with its own track record of union abuse. Have to send this one to the comrades, give em a laugh!
