I could not stop crying as I watched the video. In 1959 my family moved from Texas to San Francisco. When my dad use to drive the city bus and my mom use to take us to all those places in the video. She especially loves the flowers in Golden Gate park. She never neglected to take us to the beach and Play Land. I have written a book about growing up in San Franciso. I was afraid that as I told about these places no one would ever be able to see the places of which I speak, for many of them do not exist anymore. I loved living in The City. I was raised in North Beach and can't understand that I have left The City. Love this fantastic video - I just feel my childhood memeories return. Down on Market Street going to the Emporium for a coke float in the basement floor.. going to Playland at the Beach and laughing at the fat lady...going to Golden Gate Park to listen to music and getting stoned... Love.....
