Kennedy made reference to the need for the president to demonstrate moral leadership. Something fell apart with Clinton. Both candidates thought Cuba was lost but not forever. Nixon stressed the private sector's role for economic recovery, closely tied to reduction of taxes. Here, here!! Civil rights was accepted by both as necessary. Neither one had it over the other in this issue.
