This series was a real find. A completely agreeable contrast to the 11 movies made earlier by the distinguished and successful actors Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. I found that the use of some of the material from Sir Authors "A Study in Scarlet" was shody at best and the plot of episode one was shallow not as explicit or detailed that I expect from a Holmes story.
