Narrated by Peter Allen, this short covers the young birds and amphibians that live in and around a Northeastern pond. The narrator does tend to over-anthropomorphize just a bit too much, but otherwise a very pleasent and still fairly informative film. Lots of unnecessary handling of wild birds going here. The real highlight is the soundtrack, which mainly composed of the calls of the various birds and reptiles shown.

A good exploration of what goes on around a pond.. We see birds, insects and other wildlife. What bothered me about this film was the totally unnecessary handling of of every creature they see.. Picking up birds, turning over turtles etc. Just let nature be please! Best canadian moment: when the narrator explores the loon's egg: they put up a american half dollar in comparison.
