Very funny! Steves shows were always well done, and lots of good laughs even 57 years later!

It is also possible that this kinescope was for stations that didn't have colour broadcasting ability (some NBC stations were still only in B&W). Keep in mind that colour kinescopes are very rare, and no colour video-tapes exist from 1957.
