Synopsis
A movie producer offers a nightclub singer a role in his latest film, but all he really wants to do is bed her. She knows, but accepts anyway. Meanwhile, a patron at the club gets a note saying that she'll soon get another note, and that she will be killed ten minutes after that.

I have tried to watch this film 3 different times over a long period of months and finally I finished the mess. Oscar Micheaux the self-made man, writer, producer, director of this film is a famous Black film pioneer, but you'd never know it from this film. A lot of static camera work of a nightclub show with live music on film inter-cut with a couple of impossible to follow story lines with a lot of letters, telegrams and newpaper article inserted to move the story along.To be fair, a few scenes are brilliant, but lost along the way among the more atrocious ones.
