I really enjoyed this fun show. It is about 4 former WWII soldier trying to learning to cope with civilian life again. "The Admiral" is a lady who has also just returned and is also trying to figure out what to do after returning home.

This neglected post-war screwballer was a box office flop that only became popular after it was released to TV in the mid-fifties. It is an entertaining romp that originally had missed the boat by being made years after screwball comedies had gone out of fashion. The plot doesn't amount to much, but then the plots in screwball comedies rarely did. It's the whacky situations and zany performances that counted - both of which definitely apply to this madcap romance. Wanda Hendrix is cute and feisty. Only the most non-discriminating viewer could find anything worthwhile in this dog of a "comedy" that hasn't got a single laugh. O'Brien is a fine actor but a comedian he ain't. Tedious.
